My name is Kate Ellis and I have been working in Western New York in the field of education for over 14 years. We are facing exciting challenges in New York State and leading the charge is our January 2011 adoption of the Common Core Standards. The Regents Reform Agenda and the formation of Regional Network Teams will serve as the backbone to the new body of work we create, align, and implement along with resource and data repositories to support districts, teachers, and students as we make the shift to College and Career Readiness.
